After a complete 2 year restoration (keel, ribs, bottom, transom, interior, windshield & deck), this Lyman took her maiden voyage (June 2006 on Lake Erie). Over the next 10 years, this little outboard has cruised all the Great Lakes, the Finger lakes, Lake Chautauqua, Erie Canal, Hudson River, St. Lawrence Seaway & Lake George in NY. Other cruises include Les Cheneaux Islands, Traverse Bay, Lake Charlevoix & Tawas Bay in MI plus 3 lakes in Indiana & another in SC. One picture is from the 1st of 3 cruises on the St. John's river in FL. Being based in Cleveland, all the inland lakes in Ohio have been cruised. No, the engine is not vintage but when you turn the key it starts right up, sips gas, and is fun to drive. Fresh varnish on transom, deck, and windshield completed December 2016. This is an award-winner that needs nothing but a new captain!
