Peapods, also known as "double enders" were used for open water lobstering dating back to the 1860's. This example was built by the Apprentice Shop in Bath Maine.Tthe current owner has had it since 1996 and is the third owner. It has been on Cedar Island for the last 24 years. Though stored inside in the winter, this boat has had outdoor exposure. The Seagull outboard has not been run for many many years. Comes with sail, mast and oars. The cotton sail has some mouse damage. Trailer included.
