I purchased this classic boat in 2004 from a friend of mine who passed away. It is a 1946 16-foot Gar Wood utility boat with a Chrysler Ace 6-cycle "L" head engine and an EZ Loader trailer. Since I purchased the boat in 2004, I have put about $8,000 into repairs, restoration, and engine work. She has a traditional bottom that soaks up well. The engine was overhauled in 2012. The finish and upholstery are in excellent condition. The boat has not been in the water since 2014. She is stored in my heated garage and is in overall terrific condition.
