We are the third owners of this boat. We purchased the craft from our Friend in MI (former Ohio marina owner) who bought the boat in 1972. He shared many stories, some harrowing, about using the boar on Lake Erie and a local lake. The lake it was moored on in Ohio was a popular sailing lake and this craft has a flag with a skunk on it as the sailing crowd labeled the two-stroke crowd as stinkers. We purchased the boat as a retirement project but are not giving it the attention it deserves. It is in very good condition with no apparent damage. We had it in the water once and it took on water (through the stern scuppers) and when the boat was onshore and level water did flow out the bow. There is no apparent damage or hull compromises and it is our hope that the boat just needs to be in the water to swell up as it has been garaged for at least the last 15 years. At any rate it is a beautiful boat that needs some attention and TLC.

Comments:
Put a battery and fuel to the motor and it started right up and ran perfectly. That is all we know about the motor except that the previous owner said it ran well at the time he pulled it form the water many years ago. Boat comes with flasher, "vintage" life jackets, two anchors, a box o' parts, motor owners manual, and a mooring cover. Last registered in Ohio.
