This version of the MKII is is kept and enjoyed around Grand Island, New York. She was left outside for 20 years before the current owner purchased the boat. Though the hull paint and cartoon on the transom were original, the overall condition was quite poor. The engine was seized, and racoons had eaten the interior. The entire restoration took 4 years to complete. Wheelhouse Marine and Fiberglass Specialities restored the hull, while Casullo's marine Upholstery and Gulflite Marine Canvas completed the seating. Jasper gave the MKII's original 318cid Chrysler V8 a proper remanufacturing. The restoration was an enjoyable experience and the boat now sits on display at Wheelhouse Marine. It is put in the water one time per year during our antique boat show. A brand new Venture trailer was purchased for the boat in 2020.
