This is a treasured family boat in excellent running condition. It has been restored, then carefully maintained and used continuously since 2003. The boat has been used for three generations for skiing, tubing, and pleasure cruising. It was shown three times in area boat shows. In 2013 a West bottom restoration was completed and a rebuilt KL engine was installed. The forward and aft decks were restored in 2016. Much early restoration work was done in the 1990’s. Using as much of the original wood as possible, a general rebuild of the entire boat was carried out. All new upholstery was sewn to original specifications and a custom boat cover (down to the water line) was sewn. The instruments, including the steering wheel, were rebuilt. An engine running meter and an electronic fuel pump were added. All metal was re-chromed, missing stainless steel rub rail was acquired and the cutwater was brought back to its original luster. Auxiliary engine parts were rebuilt, e.g., carburetor, generator (converted to 12 volt) and a rebuilt water pump along with a pre-filter for the pump (in 2017). The boat was rewired with an easy to access fuse block. The stern area was reinforced to accommodate water skiers and the bow area was strengthened to allow the boat to be winched forward onto a boat trailer. The trailer was modified to raise the winch to line up with the bow lift ring. The boat, after an annual oil change and winterization, has always been inside for winter storage. The boat trailer has recently had its wheel bearings repacked and all lights (LED) replaced. The trailer has been used several times for over the road trips.
