This good looking Launch was built by W. J. Johnston of Port Carling, Ontario. Johnston is believed to be the very first boatbuilder in the Muskoka area and is credited with developing the disappearing Propeller Boat Company who build the famous Dispros or Dippys. This boat shows off the fine Canadian craftsmanship that is the hallmark of boats from this area. The boat has been in a private collection for many years and has been well cared for during that time. Always in fresh water and stored indoors the boat is powered by a Chris Craft Model "B" engine. This is a nice size boat for a small lake and will run well for years to come.
