The Barrelback model is perhaps one of Chris Craft's most iconic and well recognized models. Only 433 of these Custom Runabouts were built between 1939 and 1942. The 1939 and 1940 models featured an attractive folding, Bugatti style windshield. At 19 feet in length, the Barrelback packed a lot of styling into a manageable size. This example has been comprehensively restored to Concours condition. The hull was completed by Dannenberg in 2009, engine rebuilt by CD's Engine, and the boat has less than 10 hours of use since completed. Show winner at Clayton, Chautaqua, and Buffalo. Originally delivered to Milwaulkee, WI, July 10, 1939; this well-optioned Barrelback has the large Model-M 130hp engine, apple green waterline, interior trim package, and maroon uphosltery. She is complete with a custom made, padded travel cover as well as a custom single axle trailer.
