This Lyman would be an excellent candidate for restoration. I have owned the boat since 1996. Before that it received lots of work from Jerry Fields who was the last PLant Mnager at Lyman. The Gray Marine Model 109 ws rebuilt in 2006 and converted to 12 Volt at that time. The bottom was refastened in 2004. A teak platform is mounted to the transom. Mahognay ceiling boards have been added to the interior ribs from the floor to the gunnel. The boat has been under cover for 10 years and was winterzied properly. It was running fine when laid up. The bottom is tight and there is no rot anywhere from transom to stem.
