With much regret I’m selling my beloved 1962 Thompson Offshore. I am the second owner and have owned it for 27 years. I believe it is one of the most authentic boats of its kind. It has always been in climate controlled indoor storage. Topsides, chrome, gauges are all in excellent condition. All original interior. Everything that was there originally is still there. It has a Gray Marine (Buick) aluminum 210 V8 engine and Eaton outdrive. I have manuals for both the engine and outdrive. The keel and stem were replaced years ago by a highly respected wood boat restoration shop in Lake Geneva so the bottom is in excellent condition. Mahogany and sides were also refinished by a professional shop. It has original convertible top along with side curtains and also has a full custom cover, but it is older and would only be good for indoor storage. I have not been able to use the boat for over 10 years so the tank will probably need to be cleaned and recoated. The engine ran fine the last time I used it but will definitely need to be properly looked at before it’s started again. With the work needed to get the boat running again I believe I am pricing this boat fairly at $8750. Please contact me with any questions.
