In 1962 the black finish and Raven name were given to all three sizes of the inboard skiff, the 19’, 22’ and 26’ boat. By this point the original 22 footer was fitted with a new bowline and traditional wood frame windshield and offered with larger power options. There are no known production records which show how many 19’, 22’ or 26’ Raven were made. The 20' Raven is a manageable and practical size with a very seaworthy hull design. This example is in need of some stem and forward plank work, as photographed, but should be a reasonable project for her next custodian! The Gray Marine V8 engine was in good running order when the boat recently went into storage.
