This Crosby Sloop beauty was originally built by the late C Gorden Tucker . The sloop was slightly shortened to fit in his workshop barn the story goes . My son was given the boat from the late previous owner because she believed the soul of this sloop needed luv again . My son and I took on this restoration during the beginning days of Covid to not only help save the boat but also to keep us busy during those challenging Covid days . Thousands and thousands of hours went into this restoration over the course of four years . After many tears, frustration,determination and perseverance she is now complete. She has been saved . A we’ll known boat builder / sailor/ mayflower consultant said that “ you two boys turned her into a Show Piece “ !! We are now off to our next father/Son adventure project . We will only release this Precious Gem to someone we feel has the resources and passion to care for this rare sloop . I have documented ,and noted the restoration with hundreds of photos available from this project journey upon request .
