HUGE PRICE REDUCTION! This boat began life as a 24’ Chris-Craft Deluxe Utility and was delivered to a dealer in St. Albans Vermont in 1939. In 1983-84 the boat was modified by the Turcotte Brothers to be in the fashion of a 24' Sportsman with the double cockpit forward of the engine. In 2013, a new cold molded triple planked bottom was installed over a new keel, chines, frames and stringers by Mueller Boat Works. The chrome was redone and the engine underwent a major overhaul at that time. The engine is a Marine Power 350 ci V-8 260 hp which is fresh water cooled. It has been professionally winterized and serviced. The boat has a dripless stuffing box and the shaft was replaced with a stainless steel shaft in 2019. "Satin Doll" is a very comfortable, gorgeous looking boat that easily accommodates 4-5 people ahead of the engine and 2-4 more on folding chairs and on the motor box. With her high freeboard, she performs well in choppy water. The boat is in Clayton in the Antique Boat America showroom and is ready to run. The boat will be sold with a tandem axel trailer, waterline Sunbrella cover, 2 deck chairs, anchor, chain and line, 2 fire extinguishers, 8 life jackets (PFDs), dock lines, lighted ensign pole, burgee pole, mahogany boat hook, manual bilge pump, 3 fenders and compass.

Comments:
The tires, axles and brakes were replaced about 15 years ago and the trailer has not been in the water since 1993 when the owners purchased the boat. The boat is always launched and hauled using a travel lift. In 2021 the bearing grease was replaced, the brakes were rebuilt and the brake actuator was replaced. The tires have low mileage since it is used mainly as a storage trailer. A spare tire was added in 2020.
