This Model 25A 1930 Triple Cockpit Dodge is one of only a few known to still exist. This example was completely restored including all new wood except for the stem and gripe which were preserved. An experienced owner restoration, with plywood interior sheathing on hullsides and bottom bedded with 3M 5200 and sealed with Smiths penetration epoxy sealer and completely replanked and bedded again with 5200. After remanufacturing the original Lycoming 165 it was determined that it was past the point of full restoration and turned into a showpiece. A brand new Marine Power 350ci fuel injected V8 was installed and has been an excellent dependable and powerful replacement of the Lycoming. All new upholstery was redone and matched by a concours upholsterer with new boxes and springs built. A custom dual axle trailer was purchased to complete the package. The boat was completed in 2017 and brought to Whitefish Lake ACBS show and Coeur D'Alene where is received "Skippers Choice" at both! The owners have moved across the country had a change in lifestyle and decided its time to pass this elegant piece of history on to new stewardship.
