This Riva Tritone shared much of the same hull construction as the Aquarama. This Tritone has the Aquarama dashboard, the Riva VDO instrumentation, sound insulation in the engine compartment and some improvements to the cabin. The boat is powered by Twin Riva/ Chris Craft 220 cu. in. engines offering 370 HP. This boat will run strongly as the engine have recently been rebuilt with less than 50 hours on them and achieve approximately 45 MPH. The Tritone was gradually being phased out in 1965 and only 6 of these were built in that year. While 257 of these boats were built between 1950 and 1966 , only 10 were built after 1966. Princess Grace of Monaco owned one in 1958 thanks to Prince Rainier. The boat has gorgeous upholstery and features the popular mid 1960's teal and white color combination. This boat was originally delivered to Montreal in 1965, then brought here to the 1000 Islands where it has stayed all these years. It has been kept to a high standard and stored indoors always when not in use. It offers all of the Riva accessories such as the Riva Siren, original cabin cushions, chrome water ski pole, Riva bathing ladder, Riva Pennant, and Riva Sun mattress. This is the first time this boat is being offered for sale in many years. A full mooring cover completes the package.
