A rare and unusual Albany/Hacker Gentleman's runabout. Although not well known john l. hacker moved to Watervliet, New York in the or around 1910 and continued to manufactrure boats under the name of Albany once Hacker changed it's name. This continued onto about 1934 when they closed. The present owner has had the boat for many years and simply has never gotten around to restoring the boat. The boat is in need of a complete restoration and has no engine. This type of boat is indeed rare and desireable as so few exist to this day.
