We cruised our trawler, that we acquired in south of France 15 years ago, all around the Red and Medditerrean seas with our 4 kids. Island Gipsies are very similar to Grand banks and our's is one of the last wooden built, 3 cabins model. She undertook 2 major refits, one in Turkey and another one in Greece before she was shipped to Florida from Montenegro 7 years ago. She stayed at Bradford Marine during Covid. The hull and engines are in very good condition but rain water is leaking inside the cabins, portholes and pilot house. We recently bought brand new Garmin electronics, water maker, generator and fridges but are getting too old to take care by ourselves of such a boat, as we don't leave permanently nearby. We are looking for a boat lover that would give our dear trawler a new life at sea for great adventures. She was 3 years in a row in a famouse French boat magazine that we could provide in case of interest.
