The Ames Brothers were a pair of Port Carling cottage builders who, during the off season, built custom wooden boats. This example was built in 1962 and follows the lines of the popular Rayson Craft wooden ski boats. She was originally powered with a 426 cubic inch Chrysler wedge engine. She has been totally restored and sports a fresh finish and new upholstery. The boat has been repowered with a 496 cubic inch, blown Chevy engine.
