Wonderfully restored and one of Chris Craft's premier triple cockpit runabout models. Chris Craft only built 169 28 Custom Runabouts between 1929 and 1931 and it is believed that only 19 are still known to exist . This example shows true pride of ownership and has an exceptional mirror-finish varnish job. A 3 year restoration including replacement of all frames, new planking, ( bottom, hull and sides). All chrome has been done to show standards, new marine grade leather upholstery, professional wiring, new fuel tank and a professional engine rebuild complete the package. She has been repowered with a 440cid Chrysler Wedge, big block engine. She is quick and reliable with a vintage engine that has its own "cool factor". This boat will easily reach speeds of 45 MPH and fit 7-8 for an enjoyable day on the water.
