Built in Penetanguishene, Ontario; Grew Boats were Canada's answer to the Lyman boats of the era. The company built a variety of models from smaller outboards to roomy utility models, and later became a division of Slick Craft boats in the 1970's. The 23 foot "Jolly Giant" model was very stylish with tall hullsides, pronounced bow flare, and transom tumblehome. She is bright finished mahogany throughout and powered by a Buchanan 283cid V8 engine. The boat is an older restoration that has been well maintained over the years. She remains in god structural condition but is ready for some cosmetic attention to bring her back to her former glory.
