Billy Johnson’s Disappearing Propeller Boat Company went bankrupt in 1924. His new company , incorporated in 1931 as Port Carling Boat Works, began building the famous “Seabird” boats. This boat pre-dates the Seabirds and is one of very few built under the Billy Johnson name. A very rare and historic Canadian boat, completely professionally restored by highly renowned boat restorer in 2009 Cedar plank hull construction on steam bent white oak frames. Single plank mahogany decking over sawn mahogany beams. Electrical system upgraded to 12 volts. All the oak ribs were replaced, and a new aluminum stem, transom and oak keel were installed Plus all new bottom and deck planking .All mechanical systems were refurbished . The launch is in excellent condition and was used in 2017. Replacement cost estimated at $95,000 Comes complete with a low hours single axle bunk trailer with folding tongue, surge brakes, guide bars, plus four life jackets, bilge pump and anchor.

This historic launch was completely rebuilt in 2010 by one of the best restorers in North America.it has been boat house stored since then and sparingly used. It is as new.
