Sailing craft and rowboats built to the Whitehall design are considered among the top small craft. This rowboat was built in 2002 in Maine to the design of a 19th century Whitehall Pulling Boat and has been used lightly since on Ninigret Pond in Rhode Island. She has varnished sheer strakes, a painted lapstrake hull, varnished floorboards, battens to support a full canvas cover, varnished mahogany seats and transom. Two sets of oars and four brass oarlocks complete the package. The 17 foot length makes her stable and very easy to row.
