One of 366 Chris Craft 20' Custom Runabouts built between 1946 and 1949. With a 2-tone blond and red mahogany finish, red interior, bullnose, and shapely curved transom, this boat set the tone for many subsequent models, including the Riviera. This example is a restoration project with roughly 98% of the materials present. It is a model 47-10 with its original 130hp M engine. It was delivered new to a Mr. Russell Nelson through H.G. McKinney & Co in Wilmington, California. It was shipped out of the Algonac, MI factory on November 26, 1946. Much of the chrome work has been done, seat benches upholstered to show quality in original torch red, and sufficient material is there for the cushions and ceilings. This is a very worthy and complete project!
