This boat was last in the water in 1976 and has been kept in dry storage since that time. The motor is out of the boat but all of the hardware is all included but off the boat. The boat is now ready for restoration. Instrument panel and gauges are also included. This is a interesting Pre-War version of a popular model of Gar Wood and very worthy of restoration. The hull number is 5640 and the boat was made in 1935. This was Gar Wood's Model 1635 and was rated at 35 MPH. The boat was originally delivered to Ruggles Motor Marine in Milwaukee Wisconsin and delivered in June 1935. This is the same model that Gar Wood used to build his well known Speedster and this boat could be reconfigured to become one with little additional effort.
