Only a few of these boats are known to exist today. W.A.S.P. is one of the few that has had a keel up restoration. All work completed by a well known restoration shop. A new bottom was fitted onto the boat and it was repowered with a Mercruiser 350 MAG giving the boat great power to attain speeds in excess of 50 MPH. The original paint scheme and racing numbers were added back to the vessel completing its restoration. The Prowler is owned by a family that has had it for over 20 years. Always professionally maintained and stored dry in a boathouse, only about 5 hours of use per year by the family since restoration. Boat shows in near perfect condition and is a joy to drive. It literally leaps out of the water and is on plane immediately when power is applied. This Prowler is a great example of Forrest Johnson's designs and construction.
