This rare 1940 Chris Craft Sportsman has been in the same family for over 40 years. Always used in the fresh water of upstate New York. Chris Craft made this model for only 2 years in 1940 and 1941 - only 25 of this model were built. The boat has been cared for by the same wooden boat restorer in the 1000 Islands for 30 years and is in good, solid and sound condition. It was repowered with a modern Crusader engine in the 1980's and has lots of power to move this boat along nicely.
