1964 Bay Head Skiffs were built by Grant Bauer, designer for bay Head and Hubert Johnson. The boat has undergone a 2 year restoration involving the bilge, interior, entire hull, teak deck, cabin, exterior, floorboards and woodwork. The boat was last used in 2012 and is powered by twin Chrysler 426 wedges which have been rebuilt. Bay Head Skiffs were the premier line built by Johnson Brothers and Bay Head was the Cadillac of boats at the New York City Boat Show in the 1960's. This may be on of the last 30 footers and is a real head turner.
