A fine example of a Chris Craft Pre-War Sportsman. This boat has been shown mnay times at a number of Classic Boat Shows and has always scored high. The boat has been repowered with a Chris Craft MCL 175HP engine with Pertronix ignition which runs very strong and moves the boat along nicely. The bottom is a 3M 5200 bottom which was installed only 15 years ago and provides one with a immediate intro to water at any time using this method of "no soak". The chrome and upholstery and gauges are all in good condition. The boat sits on a Performance Custom made trailer which pulls the boat easily and supports it perfectly. 2 Skiff chairs provide the perfect element for additional guest in the boat to enjoy a day cruising. Chris Craft made only 386 of these units between 1940 and 1942. Later during the war, the US Navy ordered 84 of these and used them as Launches. A popular model and in great turnkey condition.
