This 21' Cobra is one of only 18 built in 1955 with 331ci Cadillac motor, Hull number 30 was bought by a wealthy Austrian and was shipped directly to Austria. There it was launched on the Worthersee, in Carinthia where it was one of the first motor boats on the lake. After the owners death, the boat sat in a barn on a stack of tires for 20 years. In January of 2002, restoration began. The restoration was completed in 2006. In 2013 the boat was purchased and shipped back to the US. From there it went to Katz's Marina for another restoration. This included a complete motor rebuild by Dave VanEss, All new upholstery, bilge paint, wiring, fuel tank, exhaust and bottom paint. The only items not returned to factory original are the decking and fin color. The deck was restored using the Swedish style that includes maple inlay in the deck seams. This is a great user boat! It looks as good as it runs! If you like to stand out any where you go, this is a must have boat.
