Boat Summary

Boat ID: 37937

The boat appears to be in very nice condition and should be water ready with minimal attention for this coming season. Sold complete with a cover and custom trailer. Only one other 17 footer is known to exist. Numerous 1st place awards at Lake Tahoe Concourse. The boat was purchased in 1996 and went through a restoration where all topside wood was removed and refastened and all of the original interior was reconstructed as pre original. The Stuart Warner gauges were located and restored and installed. The Dwight Lumber Company built boats mainly in the winter from 1929-1935. These boats were well constructed and given the firms ready access to wood were made only using the finest hardwoods. Regretfully the firm like so many others did not survive through the depression.
