Gar Wood boats built between 1937 and 1941 are highly regarded and often referred to as the "Trophy Fleet". Beautifully designed and highly collectible. Only 10 18'6 Utility models were built between 1940-1941 and very few are in existence today. This was the last one built in 1940 and only one other was built in 1941 to complete the production run. The boat was originally shipped on June 6th 1940 to Lake George, NY. She has been lovingly restored and tastefully "dressed up" with a Gar Wood cutwater, windshield, mahogany interior ceiling panels, and upgraded period-correct Chrysler Crown 6 cylinder engine. Recently varnished and entire fuel system serviced. The boat features a 5200 no-soak bottom - launch and go! Complete with a well-fitted trailer and boat cover.
