This boat was built by the current owner's grandfather who lived in Saranac Lake, New York. The boat was built with plans from the Cleveland Boat Blueprint Company. These were sold through magazines at that time. This blueprint was # 89 titled 17 1/2 Fast Runabout and the owner still has the catalogues and full sized templates. The boat was completed in the 1950's and sat in a dry storage until 12004 when it was restored by the current owners Father. This included a modern throaty 327 Gray Marine V-8 engine that moves the boat along nicely. Since then the boat has been stored in a boathouse in the Adirondacks on an electric lift and used sparingly. The boat is currently in very good overall condition and will be sold complete with an EZ Loader trailer.
