This 1940 Chris Craft Barrel Back has been beautifully restored in 2001, after which the boat was entered in the Lake Tahoe Concours d'Elegance Wood Boat show, where it won "First in Class". The boat has resided on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe for the past sixteen years. This Barrel Back was manufactured by the Chris Craft company and shipped on January 10, 1940 to Wilmington, California, configured for high altitude use where it has spent it's entire career. The boat has been carefully maintained and had a full engine (Hercules M, 130 HP) rebuild in 2011. It starts easily and runs well. The boat comes with a trailer, full cover, spare prop, six life vests and an anchor, as well as full documentation and maintenance records.
