This 15.5 Foot Chris Craft Deluxe Runabout is one of 671 units made by Chris Craft between 1938 and 1941. Original Mahogany and hardware (minus the transom strips and fasteners). While in storage, the cover came off and some varnish came off in the weather, has been touched up, but not a professional restoration. Original seats and seat cushions, Model B 4 cyl was rebuilt in 1980s and never run, even the original repaired prop and 6v system. The original windshields are on it, but cracked. The amp meter was damaged irreparably in the 1980's and replaced with a tractor gauge. Fuel tank needs to be cleaned out, has been removed. The bottom is the original, it is solid, but will need some attention, at the transom chines. Not severe. Boat still soaks up tight. There are a couple things it will need like a motor mount and a good battery. The motor Cranks and gets spark but still won't fire up. Comes with an extra set of tires and rims. Lights work and it has a "take-down" tongue that can be removed so the trailer and boat will fit inside a standard garage.
