17 Feet 1962 Besotes Tahoe Utility - #40266
$29,500 Location: Clayton Showroom, NY

BOAT SUMMARY

This is a 1962 Besotes Tahoe 17 Foot Utility. It is one of approximately 50 known Besotes boats still in existence of the roughly 200 that were built by the Besotes Brothers of Stockton, California. The boat was ordered with a 327 Chevy engine which runs strong to this day. It was fully restored in 2015 including a new deck and transom, new upholstery patterned from the original, and original reconditioned prop and prop shaft. Engine was removed and fully detailed. It retains all of its original instruments, hardware and windshield. Structurally the boat is sound throughout. It sits on its original Besotes trailer, which is roadworthy and could be restored if desired. The boat was awarded a best-of-class trophy at the Lake George ACBS Boat Show. Bottom paint redone in 2020 and engine was last running Fall 2020 as well. Restoration photos available upon request!
