This boat needs a considerable amount of restoration but is generally complete except the mahogany planking on the front deck was removed and discarded prior to my purchasing boat. It is any easy boat to work on because it was built batten style. Plywood sides, one soft spot in the keel. This boat has very nice lines. Although not shown in the photos the owner has the cutwater, seat framing, interior side walls and 2 windshield brackets. The steering wheel and gauges are absent from the boat. Fine Canadian craftsmanship have made this boat very popular here in Ontario.

Once property of the Antique Boat Museum's collection in Clayton New York this 1942 22 Foot Hutchinson Launch is all Mahogany lapstrake construction. This boat is all original except for the windshield and in very nice condition. The original engine was replaced with an identical Chrysler ACE 90 HP 6 cylinder engine which had been completely rebuilt by Drake engines and has less than 10 hours on it since the rebuild. The boat has a folding green canvas bimini top. The windshield hardware was originally off of a 1930's Garwood. The boat has been boathouse kept in the Adirondacks since it was purchased from the Museum in 1996. The owner is selling due to lack of space and will miss this reliable and steady boat.

This is believed to be the last and only 23 foot Higgins Sport Speedster known to exist. The boat is configured to hold up to 10 people. The engine runs very strong and gets 120 Lbs pressure in the engine. The bottom has been replaced and is super tight and does not leak a drop. The boat was put away in 1996 and was not used until just this fall. Original siren as well as the boat offers the original 3 piece style folding windshield. Accelerator foot pad and shifter on the steering column. All original markings showing that it is fully documented as one of only a very few Speedsters that were made by Higgins as they were only built for 2 years. This boat was originally delivered to Lake Placid New York and had sat in a barn untouched for many years.

This is a fabulous origianl custom built for james Murdoch who was the President of Noranda Mines and almost 30 other companies. Built unlike any other pleasure boat at the time, this had a 2 step planing hull byuilt into the design that were normally only found in racing boats of that period. This enabled it to attain speeds far beyond boats common at that time. The boat was originally designed with a Hall-Scott that was later replaced by a cast iron Scripps V-12 originally built for a Sherman tank. Due to the high cost of building it never became a production boata nd as such it is ONLY boat of it's size ever made by Minett and considered one of their crowning achievements and was featured in many of the compnay's promotional literature throughout the 1930's. It had fallen into disrepair but was fully restored in 1979. the boat is now offered for sale once again after only have 3 owners since 1929.

In the glorious Pre-War phase of wooden boating this vessel was the choice of only the most wealthy individuals in the country. It was commonly seen squiring people into new York Harbor for their day on Wall Street and Chris Craft made a total of 65 of these boats. Only a handful remain today and they are still seen as a fabulous note to a bygone era. The decks and sides have all been stripped and redone on this boat which has been owned by the current owner for the last 9 years . This is one of a small handful of these boats that still remain today in existence. Saeeda (formerly “Bertha”) was built by T.W. Felgar and first launched July 20th 1923 in Hamilton Harbour. Her hull is designed from plans published in Motor Boating Magazine as drawn by famed marine architect John L. Hacker. Saeeda has been in continuous use every summer and she is now reluctantly offered for sale by her third owners who have lovingly cared for her for since the mid 1950’s. Saeeda was launched this summer for her 85th year and although her hull is in generally good condition the cabin and decks are in need of repair or complete restoration. Her Graymarine engine is in excellent condition and she is still capable of a respectable turn of speed with four people on board. Every old vessel is has a story to tell, however this vessel is genuinely a one of a kind and extremely unique. It is the sincerest intentions of her current owners to find her a new owner who can keep her ‘her right’ for many years to come.

This is a very original Streamliner and very rare in it's configuration with wooden arm rests and an S configuration leading from the front to back. Upholstery and chrome are immaculate and the hardware is all original. This boat is a proven show winner garnering awards at Clayton, Best Runabout 22 and over, People's Choice in Skaneateles also in 2001, Best of Show in Hammondsport in 2001, People's Choice in Blue Ridge 2001. In 2002 this boat took People's Choice in Charlotte, People's Choice in Children's Harbor and Keels and Wheels and Cypress Harbor. Boat requires only a new owner and is in great shape showing the good care that it has received. Tom Greavette made 26 of these and very few are thought to still exist to this day. This boat is returning to the Antique Bopat Museum from where it was once raffled off in 1973 by the Clayton Lions Club. It was won by Mr. Clifford Stillman who brought the boat to Belleville Ontario. The boat stayed there until it was purchased in 2002. This boat was originally bought in 1937 at Fitgerald and Lee in Alexandria Bay New York just down the road. The hull needs a significant amount of work. This project also needs new decks and a new bottom. The hard top is 90% restored with new wood. She is complete with all hardware, cutwater, and trim pieces. Tony Mollica who has written book on Gar Wood boats has told me that ONLY 70-80 of these boats were ever made and that today this might be of only 10 still in existence.

This is a lovely Century Resorter. The engine is a gray marine and the block is an AMC. Dual Carter side draft with automatic choke. Velvet Drive transmission. Have HIN. Have all original gauges including clock, tach and bright ware. The sliding sun roof very functional. The original instruments were removed but not repaired. Modern instruments were used without changing the original holes. the original instruments were not functioning properly when purchased. All bright ware is there; one Coronado and one Century piece is broken. The drip edge for the sliding top did not come with the boat when purchased but was later located at a marina and is now with the boat. The bottom has been replaced and the boat has NOT been in the water due to a health issue on the part of the owner and he has now elected to part with the boat.

Most Century's were regular inboards, making this I/O an uncommon model. She is in great structural condition with no apparent soft spots. Transom, sides, floor, seating bases, top sides and decks need cosmetics. The upholstery material is still plyable and not rotted. With some elbow grease, the vinyl should come out real nice. This boat was always well maintained. It came to NY in 97, was used for one season and was stored under cover. The engine's condition is unknown. Drive is missing. This Adler 25 Cuddy-Cabin was built 1953 in the Adler Shipyard of Norway . Its Mahogany Hull is lapstrake on oak frames with an oak keel. The original Engine was replaced by an four cylinder 100hp Volvo in 1980, Sea-water cooled. The original copper-sheetmetal gasoline tank with a capacity of 12 Gallons is still onboard. A 30mm stainless-steel shaft drives a 15 x 9 LH Propeller. The former owner, decided to cover the underwater hull with 12 layers of fiberglass in order to keep the Boat in Water throughout the year. The wood is still sound and healthy. The present owner restored the Boat in Germany in 1991 and again in 2006 in Florida after years of enjoying the vessel. The seats are mahogany and douglas fir, the cockpit sole is douglas fir with a full length teak grating. The boat has been completely restored. 430cu.in/300hp original engine which was completely rebuilt. The carb, starter, generator, water pump, also have been rebuilt. It has a Paragon forward and reverse transmission which was also rebuilt. A West System has replaced the original bottom. With this bottom the boat can go from the trailer into the water without leaking. All the side planks were removed, cleaned, repaired, and refastened with 5200 Polyurethane Adhesive/Sealant and stainless steel screws. The bow and the aft decks were replaced with new wood and secured. The upholstery was new when we bought the boat. The side panels and the decks are the original material. I have just cleaned and reinstalled these pieces. All the wiring is new. The gauges have been reconditioned and are functional. The chrome has been replated. The stainless steel has been polished. The windshield is original and has been reconditioned.

This is a rare Launch produced by the Mullins manufacturing Corp of Salem Ohio. Mullins originally produced decorative pressed steel items and got into boat manufacturing in the 1890's. At one time they were one of the largest producers of boats. Very few of these boats are known to exist and this launch is one of only two known of this size. The more familiar Sea Eagle was the last of the line produced in the early 1930's. This boat has been in the same family since nearly new and is very original with the exception of the unusual Ford Flat head V-8 conversion which was done in the 60's. The decks are Oak and the hull is riveted and solderewd galvanized steel. The hull has built in flotation tanks as Mullins were advertised as "unsinkable".
