Construction is Sitka spruce, okoume marine plywood, aluminum,west system epoxy The original hull was built over a 15 year period from 1989 to 2004. In 2004,the boat was completed as a grand national hydroplane but was never launched until August of 2009. The boat went through initial water trials and exceeded all performance expectations. The conversion to a two seater began the fall of 2009 in Sarasota Florida and was completed in April this year. Will never be duplicated. The build cost today is well in excess of $125,000. This is a very original Century Coronado and in solid shape. The current owner has had the boat since 1976. The boat has been in storage for almost 15 years and is in remarkable condition given it's age. Because of it's age there is little doubt that the engine should be rebuilt. This is probably the rarest fiberglass Chris Craft ever produced! Only 20 of these unique boats were built. The XK 6.9 Meter was designed as Chris Craft's entry into the Italian market. A handful were made and that was it. Even the Mariner's Museum has never seen one before. This boat is totally original and is in very good condition. She has been very well maintained and it shows. It's only fault are a few separated seams in the upholstery, something that is easily repaired. The owner has the bottom redone in carbon fiber and new gelcoat a few years ago at a cost of $4,000. Comes with a brand new, in the box mooring cover as well as the Italian flag shown in Chris Craft's advertisements for this boat. The removable soft top makes this boat great for any weather. The engine is a 327 cu in V8 with a monel heat exchanger, so the engine is cooled with antifreeze as the primary coolant, and sea water pumped through the heat exchanger.The boat is named "First Lady" There are new deck boards, with new nautolex, with radio and antenna, compass, horn, spotlight, and rechromed bronze hardware. This very rare Wilbur Ketchum Launch designed in 1928 and was known for his sailboats. It is believed that this boat may be one of only three powerboats that he built. The keel was laid in 1941 but due to a shortage of wood was not completed until after WWII. Wilbur used her to commute to work and the boat is named after his daughter Claribel. In 2005 the boat was completely rebuilt from stem to stern. Built by Charles H Wilbur he was part of the shop known as Wilbur and Wheelock of Clayton, NY. There is no nameplate other than the engine plate which is on a 1916 Ford Model "T". The serial no on the engine is 21 which may refer to the year converted by the St Lawrence marine Co. The engine was rebuilt by a restorer in Iowa who has rebuilt hundreds of model A's, B's and T's. The hull has been faired using cedar strips and epoxies with West System. The area along the keel however has not and it takes several days to soak up. The launch has been adapted to 8V power for the bilge and period lighting. The fuel tank has been cleaned and lined. The seating was non-existent when I purchased the boat, so the layout was adapted from observing other launches and built to fit the hull.

M/Y Harmony was designed by John L Hacker and Ben Huskins. Hacker designed and Huskins built the vessel. The client was a car dealer who used the boat as a daycruiser with his family. During WW II she was listed by the US Navy, who tore out all the luxurious interior fittings and built a new interior more practical for a patrol boat. After the war she was refitted as a private yacht and got many tender hearted owners who gave her continuous care and upgradings. Since some years back, Harmony has Gothenburg as her base port. The owner reports that this unit Hull ID # 219 was brought to the United States in 1959 which would make it one of the very early units to come this way. This is a fabulous origianl custom built for james Murdoch who was the President of Noranda Mines and almost 30 other companies. Built unlike any other pleasure boat at the time, this had a 2 step planing hull byuilt into the design that were normally only found in racing boats of that period. This enabled it to attain speeds far beyond boats common at that time. The boat was originally designed with a Hall-Scott that was later replaced by a cast iron Scripps V-12 originally built for a Sherman tank. Due to the high cost of building it never became a production boata nd as such it is ONLY boat of it's size ever made by Minett and considered one of their crowning achievements and was featured in many of the compnay's promotional literature throughout the 1930's. It had fallen into disrepair but was fully restored in 1979. the boat is now offered for sale once again after only have 3 owners since 1929.

This boat has a bending mast to allow a "pocket" in the sail to give it extra speed. The mast is aluminum, but the boom is mahogany. This boat was built by Old Greenwich Boat Co. These boats were the pride of lake Simcoe as they were made in Simcoe, Ontario. The plant burned without proper insurance by the owners the company perished and did not recover. These boats are very rare and as is the case with most Canadian boats...these are appreciated for their fine Canadaian craftsmanship. This is the ONLY triple cockpit F. S. Crate that we know of in existence and one of only a handful that we know to still exist to this day. The boat itslef is in excellent condition.

This boat is returning to the Antique Bopat Museum from where it was once raffled off in 1973 by the Clayton Lions Club. It was won by Mr. Clifford Stillman who brought the boat to Belleville Ontario. The boat stayed there until it was purchased in 2002. This boat was originally bought in 1937 at Fitgerald and Lee in Alexandria Bay New York just down the road. The hull needs a significant amount of work. This project also needs new decks and a new bottom. The hard top is 90% restored with new wood. She is complete with all hardware, cutwater, and trim pieces. Tony Mollica who has written book on Gar Wood boats has told me that ONLY 70-80 of these boats were ever made and that today this might be of only 10 still in existence.

This is a lovely Century Resorter. The engine is a gray marine and the block is an AMC. Dual Carter side draft with automatic choke. Velvet Drive transmission. Have HIN. Have all original gauges including clock, tach and bright ware. The sliding sun roof very functional. The original instruments were removed but not repaired. Modern instruments were used without changing the original holes. the original instruments were not functioning properly when purchased. All bright ware is there; one Coronado and one Century piece is broken. The drip edge for the sliding top did not come with the boat when purchased but was later located at a marina and is now with the boat. The bottom has been replaced and the boat has NOT been in the water due to a health issue on the part of the owner and he has now elected to part with the boat.

Most Century's were regular inboards, making this I/O an uncommon model. She is in great structural condition with no apparent soft spots. Transom, sides, floor, seating bases, top sides and decks need cosmetics. The upholstery material is still plyable and not rotted. With some elbow grease, the vinyl should come out real nice. This boat was always well maintained. It came to NY in 97, was used for one season and was stored under cover. The engine's condition is unknown. Drive is missing.
