Greyhound was built in a little boathouse shop on beautiful Lake Courd'Alene Idaho in 1921. She roared around the lake with the Gentlemen of the era holding tightly to their straw hats. The original construction was of Oak frames with Cypress planking, which attests for her being with us today. The boat has been completely restored utilizing about 50% of her original frames and hullsides, then cold molding using West System processes and Courong marine plywood. The Rolls Royce Meteor 750 HP engine is carburated to run on regular fuel, and the craft is truely a daily user, not museum furniture. Every option other than twin screw was included at manufacture. Complete hull restoration 2004, new hull varnish 2009, electrical 2003, new block including engine rebuilt 2004, chrome plated 2004 (95%) and period correct seat surfaces 2004. Hull # 036 of 144. Only freshwater operated, low total hours. The engine rebuild just upgraded the block so to keep the original look of the engine. The only year the boat was used since 2004 was 2008. This Model was the top of the line in the Sea Skiffs. Has all new ribs from bulkhead to stern that were bent from steamed quarter sawn white oak. All screws done on ribs are silicone bronze. Both sides near waterline need to be re-fastened. Could use some more ribs in front of bulkhead by keel. Exterior keel needs a small piece laminated in. Has small rot hole on upper plywood at gunnel edge. I have all of the original mahogany interior planking. Has front V bunk with cushions. Has original CC wiring in good condition. Rear deck section needs to be replaced. Most clinch nails have been tightened or replaced where necessary. I have the front seats, bases and engine box. The rear seat frame & cushions are missing.
