| 1931 Gar Wood 28-40 Triple Cockpit. This is a project boat that is all complete less windshield and steering wheel. Windshield available from CCB for $3500. Has Scripps 202 complete. Wood all original including bottom. Full documented history with even a color film of it from 1940. Delivered to Navy Pier Chicago in July 1931 and used as a taxi boat for the Edgewater Beach hotel. Ride boat in the 1933 Chicago World's Fair. Only three 28-40 produced in 1931 and this is the newer style hull with larger bridge deck and cabinet in the second cockpit.
