From 1882 to the 1930's only two companies from New York City made bathroom fixtures which became common place on boats and rail cars. The most attractive and successful design was the fold down sink which was ideal for close quarters. They were used on Chris Craft Commuters, Elco's, Robinson Seagull's, Richardson's, Sea Lyon's, American Car and Foundry's and Wheeler Playmate's. Today these are sought after by yacht and cruiser and train car owners alike.
