As far as it can be determined, the hull was one of several made in Florida by a small unknown manufacturer and sold bare for the owner to finish. This one was never finished properly and when it was "rescued", all of the wood trim was beyond salvage. All of the wood was removed, the hull professionally media blasted, prepped, primed and repainted inside and out. The wales, seats, breasthook and quarter knees are new African Sapele Mahogany. The Floor Boards are new Florida Cypress. All the woodwork was newly designed and finished with Epifanes marine varnish. Stainless fasteners were used throughout except on the bronze oarlock mounts where silicone bronze fasteners were used. There are no oars for the boat. The all aluminum trailer is by "Trailex" and can be moved around like a dolly with the boat on it. This is a beautiful example of a classic design. If you're going to row for exercise, you might as well look good doing it.
