This 1958 Dorsett Runabout is rare and unique boat from the Raymond Loewy design years (1957- 1959). Loewy was renowned as the "father of industrial engineering" and the designer of the Studebaker Avanti. All original and very well preserved. Reconstructed and reupholstered seats. Red and white gel coat is unique and unusual in an era of orange, green and yellow boats. Gel coat is very good for it's age and rubs out nicely.Engine recently gone through (cost of $700) and runs perfectly. Internal 10-gallon gas tank with external filler.
