Own a piece of history with this 16' mahogany, inboard one of a kind Penn Yan Aristocrat Clipper at a below value price. This is the perfect boat for the weekend wood boat enthusiast. It is reported the grandson of the original owner of Penn Yan Boats says the boat is a one of a kind when Penn Yan and Johnson Outdrives were considering merging their businesses. The bronze external propeller and rudder extending beyond the stern indicate this, but there is no documentation in the archives. Displayed at the Clayton Boat Show in Clayton, NY. Inboard Gas Gray Marine Phantom Four - 45 HP Engine Number D-22234 rebuilt in 2008 with few hours. Boat Serial Number D-1553. Gear box Serial Number D-1553. Work performed in 2010; new Moller 19 gal. polyethylene gas tank, mounted forward, new fuel gauge, mahogany stripped and varnished. Prior to the current owner, the boat has been maintained by Fish Bros boat builders in Queensbury, NY. The current owner purchased the boat in 2017 and she has been stored indoors ever since. She came from Lake George in the Adirondacks. Having relocated to the Erie Canal, the owner wishes to aggressively sell the boat below its current value in order to purchase a launch more suitable for the tranquil waters of the Erie Canal.
