Chris-Craft built just under 800 of the popular, versatile Capri models from 1955-1958. This version was a gift to the current owner in 1957 when it was new. It has been used exclusively on Skaneateles Lake in central New York State for the past 60 years, and only sparingly in the past few. In 2014 a 5200 "no-soak" bottom was installed, the original tango red and white upholstery with silver trim was updated, the sides and decks were stripped and re-varnished, and the gauges were cleaned and re-installed. The KFL engine has bearing problems and will need to be rebuilt or replaced. Here's an opportunity to replace the existing engine with the small-block Chris-Craft 283 for improved performance and have a no-soak, powerful Capri for under $25,000. [Price reduced to $19500 in May 2021 to reflect the engine issue.]
