1940 73’ Trumpy Motor Yacht. 2' x 8' section of side deck needs removal, supports, and to be replaced/refastened. Cabin around wheelhouse needs about 8’ of the outside panels replaced. One generator, 20KWW 3 phase runs, but there is no power. Likely a short in the power cable between generator and distribution panel. Other generator does not run, condition unknown. Sleeps 10, 3 heads, 4 cabins, 5 AC units, 4 fuel tanks, fresh water storage and pressure pump. Galley double sink, side by side fridge, small chest freezer. This boat is believed to have belonged to Howard Hughes and served as a British war ship. Rebuilt by John I. Thornycroft & Co. LTD. England. Twin disc clutches model MG521. Sought by collectors. Only a few left at this price, must sell due to health reasons. She needs lots of cleaning, painting, and appreciation. Built by John Trumpy & Sons, Annapolis, MD, a well respected boat builder. Ideal vessel for restoration, must see to appreciate the possibilities!
