The current owner purchased this 28 Lyman Sportsman from French Creek Marine in Clayton, NY in 2004 as a project. She went through a full restoration and was completed in 2010. Originally delivered new to Mercers Marine in Clayton, NY and she has always lived on the St Lawrence River in fresh water. She has been repowered with twin Chris Craft 327cid, 225hp V8 engines with Velvet Drive transmissions. Both engines run well and have good compression and oil pressure. She was last used during the 2018 season and was winterized and stored indoors since that time. All upholstery, cushions, canvas, and bimini top were new in 2018 and are in excellent condition. This is a very nice example that is extremely clean and shows well. There is no trailer included with this boat but gantries are available on site to position the boat on to your trailer, or transport may be arranged.
