Built as a fishing vessel in 1957 designed for sail, Jean de la Lune was later fitted with an engine, sold to a diving school and taken across the Atlantic to the Caribbean. Brought back to the Scottish Isles JDL worked for over 20 years as a Sail Training Vessel taking trainees and charter guests for holiday trips and corporate functions alike.
