This is a gorgeous Ventnor which the current owner has had for about 17 years. the bottom has been replaced and extensive restoration has been done by a well known restorer. The boat has leather seats and a custom trailer. The Mercury Maid was an experimental hull built by the Apels which they hoped would go faster in the 1930's. It is a stepped hull and has through hull friction tubes. owner has a considerable amount of information on Ventnor although there was little in circulation as the records were destryed when the factory burned.
