This Jacoby is a truly significant piece of racing history! She was owned and raced by Paul Wearly, a very notable outboard racer of the 1930's - 1950's. This particular boat was his 1940 A-class hydroplane APBA National record setter. The boat was found in a basement in Upstate, NY several years ago and was lovingly restored to museum quality by her current owner. Scored 100 points at a recent ACBS boat show. Complete with canvas trailering cover and the original canvas cover. The boat and motor are absolutely flawless and would be an excellent addition to a permanent collection. Johnson KR racing engine is outfitted with several rare "Neal" aftermarket racing parts offered in the '30's and '40's. The overall condition and collection of history & documentation show real pride of ownership. This is a serious boat for a serious collector!
