I was looking to restore this 18ft 1957 Chris Craft Continental my wife is now expecting our first child and can not take it on. It appears to be in great condition as far as the wood in the bilge goes it does look like someone had previously fiber glassed the hull. Reason for the fiberglass is unknown as I have not had a chance to remove the fiberglass. The rest of the boat is in really great shape. The boat is missing one of the planks on the port side. I have a mahogany plank that is ready to be steam bent and put in. I have two bow chrome vents, chrome trim pieces for the bow, starboard, port, stern. I also have the engine cover with engine vin plate (CL-18-291), the wooden stern pole light, the steering wheel with original chrome decor, and all the steering and cabling, rudder, copper exhaust pipe, and drive shaft is present. It does not have an engine, missing the side chrome vents, gas tank, gas cap, and seats. I have the original bill of sale from Chris Craft.
